Flowmeter Filling
This method of filling measures out a product (usually liquid) using a flowmeter. Flow-meters based on the Coriolis principle can also fill non-aqueous products like oils.
Fillers of this type are suitable for accurate filling of products at both medium and high speeds and are very easy to clean. A flowmeter measures the movement of liquid in a pipe. "Invasive" flow meters are coupled into the pipe and derive the flow rate from the rotation of a turbine or paddle wheel that is moved by the liquid. Product can be gravity fed, pump fed or fed via a pressure vessel.
